Peter Obi framed in UK

Immigration officials in the UK revealed that the former Anambra governor was impersonated.

The Labour Party (LP) Presidential Campaign Council has made a shocking allegation against the opponents of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi. The Council claims that Obi's political adversaries are attempting to frame him by impersonating him in the United Kingdom.

According to the spokesperson of the Obi-Datti Media Office, Diran Onifade, Obi had traveled to the UK to celebrate Easter when he was accosted by immigration officials at Heathrow Airport. The officials handed him a detention note, but he was later released due to the intervention of Nigerians at the airport.

Onifade explained that the immigration officials informed Obi that he was being questioned for a duplication offense, suggesting that someone had been impersonating him in London. The offense is severe because the impersonator could be committing various crimes and fraudulent activities in Obi's name.

The LP Presidential Campaign Council believes that Obi's opponents are behind this impersonation scheme. They have accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of attacking Obi since he vowed to pursue his case at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Onifade further alleged that Obi's phone line was bugged, and he was urged to leave the country by some individuals. The Council suspects that those who encouraged Obi to leave may have planted impersonators in the UK to tarnish his image.

Obi has continued his charity work in Nigeria, visiting health and educational institutions, making donations, and receiving awards. Despite the flurry of unwarranted attacks, the former Anambra State governor remains committed to building a new Nigeria, where people can live in a secure and productive country, they will all be proud to own.
