Francia Raisa's Father Reveals Reason Behind Fallout with Selena Gomez Over Alleged Drinking After Kidney Transplant

According to El Cucuy, the pair had a "disagreement" over Gomez's alleged drinking following the transplant, which upset Raisa. 

Raisa reportedly told Gomez that "she didn't give her a kidney so she could go out and drink." Raisa's concerns are valid as drinking alcohol above the recommended limits can raise blood pressure, which can be dangerous for people with a kidney transplant, according to the National Health Service (NHS). 

It has been five years since Raisa generously donated her kidney to Gomez in 2017. During this time, the two were known to be close friends and even posted photos together on social media. However, it seems that their friendship has deteriorated due to their differences in lifestyle.

She went on to say that while she understands being a hardcore fan, it's not nice to be bullied, and she would ask anyone, not just for herself, to please stop.

When asked if she regretted donating her kidney to Gomez, Raisa replied, "I would definitely speak to someone again about organ donation and the process and stuff."
